**MISION DEL PUESTO**
Será responsable de realizar de manera cualificada las funciones de control, realización y supervisión de la partida de pastelería y/o servicio bajo la dirección del Jefe/a de cocina, aplicando en todo momento las normas y prácticas de seguridad e higiene vigentes en la empresa.
**FUNCIONES ESENCIALES**
- Participar en el control de aprovisionamientos, conservación y almacenamiento de mercancías de su área.
- Colaborar en la instrucción del personal a su cargo.
- Preparar, cocinar y presentar los productos de uso culinario.
- Revisar y controlar el material de uso en la cocina, comunicando cualquier incidencia al respecto.
- Colaborar en la planificación de menús
- Colaborar en la gestión de costes e inventarios, así como en las compras.
- Controlar y cuidar de la conservación y aprovechamiento de los productos puestos a su disposición.
- Revisar el estado de las cámaras y temperaturas.
- Fechar los géneros y hacer rotación lógica.
**FUNCIONES DE APOYO**
- Mantener una fluida comunicación con el Jefe y segundo de cocina.
- Cumplimento de las normas y políticas de la compañía y/o Hotel.
- Mantener una buena relación con el equipo de sala y departamento de F&B en general.
**CONOCIMIENTOS Y HABILIDADES DEL PUESTO**
- Iniciativa y capacidad de trabajo en equipo.
- Capacidad de supervisar, entrenar y motivar al personal a su cargo.
- Precisión, interés por los detalles.
- Dotes organizativas.
- Ser creativo.
**FORMACIÓN Y EXPERIENCIA**
2-3 años en puesto similar en Hoteles de 4* y/o 5*, con conocimiento de servicio a la carta o menús degustación en restaurantes.
F.P. 2 grado en Técnico de cocina o similar.
