**Visión General**:
Bio-Rad has an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join one of the world leaders within clinical diagnostics & life sciences and deliver excellent customer service to our key accounts across Spain (based in or around Tenerife - Canary Islands)

The service team is responsible for all activities supporting the installation, modification, and repair of customer instruments, both on customer site and sent to our Leipzig service centre.

**Responsibilities**:

- Attend customer sites, ensuring that all service and repair of instruments are conducted in accordance with SOPs, Health, and Safety regulations, and in a professional, presentable manner.
- Documenting all service visits accurately and forwarding, within the allocated time frame, to the Service Admin Department.
- Calls closed on day of Job.
- Deliver the First Time Fix KPI.
- Correct escalation of 2nd level issues.
- Maximize equipment performance in line with guidelines and Specialist direction.
- Keep updated technical & organizational records on all Bio-Rad systems.
- Stay up to date with the technological developments within your field of operation.
- Liaise and work with local Sales teams to meet market and business requirements.
- To be fully responsible for maintaining accurate records of personal parts inventory, ensuring the quality of all parts remain in the condition and packaging with parts numbers as received.

**Qualifications**:

- Must have experience in the field of technical assistance for the technological instrumentation of automation.
- Technical degree and/or at least 3 years’ experience in a customer facing environment.
- Working knowledge of technical English both verbal and written
- Good time management and communication skills
- Up-to-date computer knowledge in both software and hardware including Microsoft Office
- Based in Canary Islands, preferably in Tenerife.
- Available to travel
