Franchise Marketing, Sr. Manager

**Job Description**:
Leads the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) franchise marketing programs in the (country) and will be held accountable for the execution of the marketing programs, the impact sales performance and the results in terms of trust & value with key stakeholders. This includes collaborating across functions in the country (cross-functional) and within the marketing team in MS to inspire customer engagement focus and excellence in execution for patient impact.
Key member of MS marketing team, together with local marketing brand-leads (peers within MS).
Patient impact and value offer to the HCP are the key deliverables and require a deep understanding of the customers (patients and HCPs), market, competitors and internal capabilities to generate insights and a priority needs map for the (country). Corresponding tactics will be evaluated and implemented.
Key interface with SEN (Neurologist Scientific Society) and key actor with regional scientific societies.
Key player and contributor in digital transformation with MS BU.
**Principal Accountabilities**:
Portfolio strategy
- Leads the analysis of patient/HCP, market, competitors and internal capabilities to generate insights and develop a priority needs map for MS in Spain.
- Collaborates with MS marketing local brand-leads to define the best portfolio strategy and co-positioning.
- Collaborates in strategic forums and adhoc projects definition and implementation.
- Collaborates in annual strategic planning process & budgeting, providing direct support to BUD.
- Contributes to digital transformation within MS BU.
Leadership of franchise projects & initiatives
- Leads the cross-functional Franchise brandteam in defining key priorities and initiatives to implement the agreed strategy.
- Leads definition and successful implementation of Franchise projects (non-product related portfolio initiatives) to reinforce Biogen market leadership in MS - leading & shaping MS market trends in Spain.
- Strengthen Biogen digital leadership through innovative ideas and programs - go beyond leadership (i.e. Biogen Linc leadership within MS BU).
KOLs and Scientific Societies engagement
- Leads KOLs local engagement plan definition and implementation - cross-functional with brand-leads, sales managers and other key functions (medical, access, etc.).
- Key contact person for Scientific Societies, National and Regional, together with Medical Franchise Manager, and in coordination with DSMs and PMs.
Ensure Compliance
- Adherence to Biogen code of conduct, SOPs.
- Adherence to local laws and regulations.
**Qualifications**:
- Scientific, medical, paramedical and/or business management background.
- Bachelor’s degree minimum.
- Total experience in the pharmaceutical industry min. 7 years, commercial function.
- Marketing experience of minimum 3 years.
- Key areas of experience: strategy, key projects management & customer engagement.
- Written and spoken proficiency in English.
