ADMIN MEDIUM BACKUP PLATFORMS

Your role:
We are looking for people able to operate and manage different backup/restore environments, including managing end to end relationship with major suppliers.

We will provides end-to-end provisioning, operation and decommissioning activities according to client standards and policies and by tracking all modifications in ServiceNow.

Key duties:

- Schedule and create backup jobs.
- Manage Backup/Recovery Hardware Management
- Data backup reporting
- Install (real time mirror, replication), maintain, and support backup software products
- Manage external storage media library, operations and administration, as well as test restoration.

**Requisitos**

Your Profile:
You have more than 3 years of experience as administrator at least in one of the backup/restore enviroment/platforms. Also you have wide experience in Backup/Disaster Recovery and troubbleshouting activities. You know well Backup technologies, HA platform experience, security policy deployment, Windows backup. VEEAM back up, NetBackup v7.6,v8.1, v8.2 and NDMP Backup to tape for NetApp Storage. An excellent command of oral and the written English language is required.

Other valuable knowledge:
Knowledge in public platforms (Azure, Google, AWS), experience with DBs (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL), MdW (Weblogic, Jboss, ISS, Tomcat,)and advance experience in Automation are desirable.
Knowledge in configuration/design VPNs, firewalls, routing, DNS as well as experience creating technical documentation is a plus.
