Apprentice Field Service Engineer

**Job Description Summary**: As Apprentice Field engineer you will be responsible for dispatching on routine service preventative and corrective visits, responding to service calls and supporting the field team to drive customer satisfaction through Service Excellence. Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world. **Responsibilities**: - With mínimal supervision, as assigned, perform planned maintenance (PM), safety and environmental inspections and maintain effective customer relations. Follow appropriate GE policies, procedures, hospital protocol and complete necessary documentation. - Maintain daily communications with customers, to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction. As instructed, implement GE / customer facility contract, supporting business goals and objectives. - May assist more experienced technicians and FSE’s on basic and complex repairs /resolution respectively. Work as a member of local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within assigned area. - Document all actions and submit reports/summaries according to schedule. Ensure proper care of spares, tools and test equipment and ensure calibration. Maintain approved parts inventory. Manage vendor’s service delivery processes in compliance with GE policies, as instructed. Enhance and maintain technical knowledge of current standards, codes and procedures regarding safe and effective use of medical equipment through formal instruction. - Meet Health and Human Services, Environment Health and Safety requirements and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements. - Perform other related duties as assigned. **Requisites** - Diploma in related studies achieved in the past 5 years (university diploma or vocational training "FP") - Spanish and English skills - Ability to reside in Castilla y León, based on Valladolid - Good customer skills to deal with hospital staff - Driving license (company car provided) **Inclusion and Diversity**: GE Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
