Job Description We are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer located in Madrid or close vicinity of Madrid. This role is part of a global service team, reporting to the Field Service Coordinator, and focuses on safety‑first operations at both company and customer sites. Responsibilities Perform field service activities including commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimization, and maintenance of equipment. Perform all mechanical, electrical, electronic, and optical tuning and setup. Collaborate with customers on‑site and provide consultancy to help them achieve highest performance and reduce food waste. Work on intelligent and pioneering technologies. Represent TOMRA as an ambassador. Receive training and equip with necessary knowledge and tools. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in field service or customer support. Basic analog and digital circuits, electrical power circuits, and PLC circuits—mandatory knowledge. Fluent in Spanish and a good level of English—mandatory. Willingness to travel at least 80% of the time, including holidays and weekends. Ability to read schematics. Strong technical problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and follow‑up skills. Customer‑oriented attitude and cultural sensitivity. Passion for engineering. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Benefits Company‑provided laptop and cell phone subscription.
