As Oracle is playing a key role in the digital transformation and deployment of NGN, 4G and 5G networks, is looking for a consulting professional who has very good understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes and technology designs within the communications industry, with focus in the VoIP domain. +5 years of experience and very good understanding of relevant telecommunication protocols in the VoIP space (SIP, RTP, Diameter, TLS, IPSEC ), high level technology designs and standard network architecture & components (SBC, IMS, VoLTE, Corporate Communications & Contact Center solutions ).

Specific tasks of the job include
- Configure and troubleshoot Oracle CGBU network systems (OC-SBC, OC-SR, OC-OM, OC-SDM and related systems), on site or remotely, in an autonomous manner.
- Participate in solutions analysis and designs that lever on Oracle Communications products, providing with expert advice to best implementation options to address customer requirements
- Prepare or help preparing project related documentation (High/Low Level Design Document, Test Plans, etc).
- Prepare or help preparing customer facing technical content and information about Oracle CGBU network solutions.
- Work with the Support and Development teams to identify best solutions to specific issues or address issues identified within the deployment phases
- Provide in-depth technical support to external (customer, partners, system integrators ) and internal (account managers, sales representatives, PLM, engineering, support organizations ) stakeholders.
- Consult, assess or audit customer’s networks and design solutions, providing with expert advice in optimal implementation.
- Train the customer in ORCL products functionality implementation and operation in the context of project or on a per-request assignment
- Take an active role in positioning Oracle services and solutions among existing or potential customers
- Actively collaborate with service and product sales teams in executing go-to-market strategy and crow business
- Assist in pre-sales and business development activities upon request

This is a senior consulting position operating independently to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.

Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on complex customer engagements.

Specific skills and requirements
- Graduate degree in Telecommunications or equivalent
- You will have 5-10 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles.
- Good or very good understanding of SIP and associated standards/protocols (RTP, SDP, ENUM ) is a must
- Good understanding or IP/TCP and associated protocols and standards is required
- Good understanding of network solutions, and other telecommunication protocols (Diameter, HTTP, JSON, ISUP, SS7, MGCP), and high level technology designs and network architectures and components (IMS, VoLTE, telco architecture, SBC )
- Experience within a network switching and routing environment is good to have.
- Familiar and hands-on experience in working with Linux or relevant *nix OS
- +5 years’ experience in technical role
- Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus.
- Experience working within a client facing role
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload efficiently to meet committed deliverables and timelines.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients.
- Ability to travel as needed, up to 50% of time
