**Location**: Barcelona, Spain

**Key Responsibilities**:
The Lead Security Engineer will become part of the Information Security Engineering team and will lead the technical design and implementation of solutions with a focus on network security.

A technical champion who is not afraid to engineer and/or lead partners in the development and during the complete lifecycle of security services

Provide technical security guidance and risk advisory to IT, OT & business teams advancing Firmenich’s digitalization, secure user-centric service development, and process optimization

In addition, he/she provides L3 technical support and is not afraid of troubleshooting the most complex engineering challenges to safeguard our data, offices, manufacturing, R&D, datacenters, and cloud environments.

**We Value**:
At least 5 years of experience related to Information Security activities

Relevant MS or BS degree and/or certifications (e.g. SANS, GIAC, OSCP, Azure Security, leading firewall vendor certifications,)

Strong knowledge of Next Generation Firewall platforms and Layer 7/Application Security aspects within Firewalls, Proxies and Load Balancers

Good knowledge of network security including LAN, VPN, NAC, L2/L3 Security

Analytical thinker with strong organizational skills, and ability to operate autonomously with high attention to details and the never-stop-learning attitude

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
