Overview:
JBT Foodtech Spain is looking for our next GL Accountant to cover a maternity leave. Our European Share Service Center in based in San Fernando de Henares.

Strong ability to work with mínimal supervision.

**Role Dimension: r**eporting to GL Team Lead**: Responsibilities:
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Perform GL daily activities, with a teamwork spirit and creating good atmosphere within the team.

Support on the daily operations of the General Ledger area: Reporting, Reconciliations, analysis, Blackline tasks

Month end closing tasks: Reporting in HFM, Consolidation, Intercompany, Accruals, Prepaid.

Used as GL Expert for all other SSC teams.

Guaranteeing all general ledger transactions are performed under a strong internal controls framework.

Ensure appropriate controls are in use so that US GAAP Financial Statements are correctly reported following JBT Financial Standards.

Prepare, code and record journal entries in GL

**Type of Supervision Position works under**:_(close, moderate, mínimal)_** This position works under mínimal supervision relying on knowledge and experience to make decisions.

**Relationship Responsibilities
- **Interacts with all departments at multiple locations at all levels of the organization

Qualifications:
**Education/Experience**:
Bachelor´s degree in Accounting or equivalent.

2-3 year experience in General Accounting & Accounting in multinational company.

SSC Experience

Knowledge of ERP Solutions (Syteline/SAP/JDE) and Hyperion or equivalent.

**Languages**:

- High Level of English mandatory
