Global Travel Manager

**Tasks in the role**:

- Develop, provide oversight, and direct management of day-to-day operations relating to company travel.
- Lead relationship with company-appointed travel management companies.
- Maintain and update travel and expense policy and procedures, facilitate executive review and approval, and manage company-wide communications.
- Ensure systems and TMC procedures are updated to reflect changes in travel policies.
- Work closely with Finance, Global Mobility, and Culture and Communications teams to deliver travel messaging and training for employees.
- Communicate, educate, and drive continuous improvement of the travel and expense program.
- Drive ongoing internal expense reporting by divisions, and generate KPI/SLA decks for executive QBRs.
- Hands-on when workload demands, for urgent bookings, and for problem resolution.
- Establish solid relationships with travel vendors and schedule quarterly reviews to accurately measure usage/expense while developing a corporate savings program beneficial to both parties.
- Perform and/or review travel credit card reconciliations.
- Transition newly acquired companies to the corporate travel program and enable global expansion by driving the launch of new country tools or local TMCs.
- Lead efforts in duty of care and travel crisis response.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

**Who we are looking for***:

- Some college education required, Bachelor of Arts or Sciences preferred.
- Eight years of experience with corporate travel, with three plus (3+) years of experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Experience managing travel programs for employee groups based in the US and multiple European countries.
- English must-have.
**- You have German, Russian, or Spanish language.
- Passion for customer service.

**A bit about the team**:
We are currently seeking a Global Travel Manager. This position is responsible for providing strategic insight and guidance to support the travel program as well as accountability for operations and support to the business. This includes managing the Travel Management Company (TMC), driving operational excellence while ensuring that agreed-upon services are delivered and holding them accountable to the set service level agreements. This person will also manage vendor relationships with our travel suppliers (airlines, hotels, cars, and ancillary travel services), ensuring the highest level of service is being delivered.
