**ABOUT THE LEAD ENGINEER IN TEST ROLE AND OUR TEAM**:
The Knot Worldwide is looking for a highly motivated QA Lead in Mobile testing to join the QA Platform Team that will have hands-on responsibilities for developing and maintaining our mobile test automation and tooling, working across teams to mentor other QA Engineers, and design, develop, and implement mobile test frameworks.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensure that features are high-quality by building mobile test strategies, writing and executing test plans, and communicating with the team about issues, risk, and product quality.
- Leverage skills and experience to develop mobile automated tests to ensure product quality
- Eventually help on manually testing new features and bug fixes before incorporating them into automated test suites.
- Identify and execute on opportunities to improve the QA process.
- Partner with other automation engineers in tests to promote best practices surrounding mobile testing, continuous integration, code standards, etc.

**SUCCESSFUL LEAD ENGINEERS IN TEST HAVE**:

- Expert knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
- Hands on experience writing mobile automated tests.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Experience with modern mobile test frameworks like Appium.
- Experience using Python or similar programming language.
- Experience leading teams and projects in an Agile, TDD environment.
