The **Field Service Engineer** is responsible for service, repair and installation of products or IT solutions at customer site, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts. Diagnoses system failures and determines most cost-effective solution. Escalates complex issues to greater level of technical support or quality reporting system. May develop new customer service/product agreements. Responds to customer support calls within an assigned territory This position is part of the Customer Care Organization and will be located in Spain_, _Oviedo and/or Santander remotely_. _ **In this role, you will have the opportunity to**: - Manage installations and customer training - Provide support on company product instrumentation - Perform routine standard procedures to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software - Work closely with the technical support team to address customer complaints to determine corrective action and customer follow-up - Document and report the company's product "design reliability" and "maintenance issues" and/or problems to technical support **The essential requirements of the job include**: - Electronic Engineering Degree (or equivalent) - Previous experience in a customer service role would be appreciated although not exclusive - Fluent in English.
