**The project**

As General Ledger Accounting Intern you will assist the team on tasks related to the preparation and reporting of the financial statements of the respective companies.

**What will the role entail?**
- Supporting day-to-day accounting activities for our subsidiaries in Ireland, Spain, and the UK
- Assisting with the preparation of VAT, Intrastat, and other tax-related reports
- Helping with reconciliations of key General Ledger accounts
- Contributing to the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assisting in compiling the Spanish Group Reporting pack
- Supporting the development of statutory annual financial statements
- Working alongside the team to meet internal reporting deadlines
- Participating in ad hoc financial analyses and supporting various finance-related projects

**Job Requirements**:

- ** University degree or equivalent**in Finance, Accounting or similar
- **Languages**: high Level of Spanish and English (min. C1-B2) any other languages are a big plus.
- **IT Skills**: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar data analysis tools (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
