- o Proven experience engaging with Government Entities
- o Ability to understand complex issues from Government and communicate them in a way that is meaningful to their intended audiences
- o Ability to work within a diverse, multi-location team
- o Highly organized with an eye for detail and accuracy
- o Ability to manage and deal with sensitive and confidential issues.

**Activités**
- Appuyez sur les touches espace ou entrée pour alterner la visibilité de la section.- Hold and monitor regular meetings with District Government body (Palma & Mocimboa da Praia) to keep key project stakeholders updated regarding the Project related activities
- Carry out proactive approach for government engagement, seeking to identify key stakeholders within the government and their interests and concerns regarding the plans, project development by building and manage positive relationships.
- Build relationships of trust and goodwill with key District Government stakeholders for ongoing Socio-Economic Development, Local Content, HSE, Security, Legal and other Project related function at Palma District level including Palma District Administrator, Permanent Secretary, District Service Directors, Community Designated Leaders.
- Ensuring an extensive flow of information between the Project and local government to ensure that consistent messages are communicated.
- Meeting arrangements
- Correspondence management aligned with GLO based in Palma Town
- Work closely with Provincial and District Government to cultivate an understanding of Project activities and drivers in order to expedite regulatory and other government approvals.
- Provide operational support to Nothern-Based and Maputo based functions related to stakeholder engagement.
- Liaise with Government to provide authorization/endorsement/approval and permitting for Project activities and set some the regulatory framework.
- Follow up and provide timely feedback to Government Affairs Manager on the implementation of PESOD/PES - Socioeconomic Development Plan of the District.
- In coordination with the GLO, Oversee and monitoring the return and establishment of Public Services and officials in Palma and Mocimboa daPraia.
- Ensuring smooth coordination with local authorities for the field visit of TEPMA1 staff.
- Proactively assess and provide insight of privileged information from government (Palma & Mocimboa da Praia) relevant to the TEPMA1.
