VHIR has a vacancy for a Researcher in the Peripheral Nervous System Group

In April 2015, the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) obtained the recognition of the European Commission’s HR Excellence.

This recognition demonstrates that VHIR endorses the general principles of the European Charter for Researchers and a Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers (Charter & Code).

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required**:

- University Degree in Biological Sciences
- Master’s Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology PhD in Biological Sciences

**Desired**:

- More than 5 years of experience in Neurogenetics, especially genetic polymorphisms and implications for human diseases
- Commitment to clinical research
- Teamwork skills Good English skills, both written and spoken

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required**:

- Skills in bioinformatic processing and data analysis Skills in biomedical applied statistics

**Main responsibilities and duties**:
**Labour conditions**:

- Part-time position (34,5 hours/week)
- Gross annual salary: 51.059,00 € Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale
- Starting date: Immediate
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
