Hiab is looking to hire Development Engineer, to join the team in Zaragoza, Spain and report to the Senior R&D Manager, HSH Cranes Zaragoza.
**Main tasks and responsibilities**:
- Verify if the requirements established in the definition of a new product are feasible
- Make structural calculations about loads and stresses
- Determination of the fatigue and functional tests to be carried out participating in their monitoring and approval
- Stress dossiers generation
- Proactive in innovative solutions
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action procedures
- Proficient in interacting with all functions within a business
- Give technical support to production, sales and after-sales during the life of the product.
**Education**:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering Technology.
**Requirements**:
Design FMEA experience
Proficient in 3D design. Preferred CREO (ProEngineer)
Understanding of manufacturing processes and their limitations
Understanding of welding types and procedures
Fluent in written and spoken English.
**Non-essential requirements**:
PDMLink experience
Knowledge of electronic and hydraulic systems
Knowledge of European standards EN 12999 and EN 13001.
Master's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
**Work experience**:
3 years of experience in industries in the machinery and/or services production sector: Hydraulic handling machines.
