**Data Governance Manager (freelance/contract)**

My client urgently seeks on a 100% remote basis a **Data Governance Manager** for an immediate start.
- Roll out an enterprise wide data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality & the protection of sensitive data through classification, policies, standards and processes;
- Assist/support in ensuring that master data is clearly defined, communicated & well-understood &considered as part of operational prioritization & planning, compliant with policies and standards;
- Check the roles & responsibilities related to data governance are compliant & confirm clear accountability for stewardship;
- Monitor indicators of performance and quality metrics and assist the implementation of data related policies and measurement required at corporate level;
- Master + reference data (Governance) experience;
- Willingness to accept change and support direction;
- Results orientation, willingness to commit to a direction and drive operations to completion;
