**What are we looking for?**

Academic Background and Technical Knowledge:

- Engineer or Master’s degree in Mathematics, physics or economics.
- 10years in investment banking; ideally in Equity derivatives trading / quants / structuring.
- Mandatory high level of functional knowledges of risk management and valuation theory of Equity Derivatives
- Mandatory high level of technical knowledges (development capabilities, connecting to official IT systems: Murex, Typhoon, Quotepad, Solar, RiskViewer, RiskEngine)

Languages:

- Fluent in English
- Fluent in Spanish will be valuable.

Soft skills:

- Analytical skills with strong detail orientation.
- Good communication skills and interaction with other departments.

Overview

Drive the management of the institutional orders received by both internal and external clients, seeking to maximize the execution efficiency in terms of pricing and market impact.

Global Equity Trading Excellence is in charge, at Front Office level, for Equity business units of:

- Overviewing globally the risks in the books
- Being the contact point with Quant teams for any assessment on models
- Being the contact point with Risk Departments
- Monitoring of Capital Consumption & Asymmetries
- Governance of front office level of Equity frameworks and trading restrictions (Regulatory risks, liquidity risks )

As part of the Global Equity Investment Solution Plan, the department is in charge from business perspective, to lead the workstream of Risk Platform.

About the job
- Building periodic reports for Equity Management (PL & Risk Committee, Equity Frameworks ) & trading desks.
- Designing the prototype of the fixing report in close contact with all exotic trading desks; and then leading the corporatization of the tool
- Participating in the evolution of the risk platforms to comply with Trading desks & Global Equity Management needs
- Participating in action plan with other departments (Finance, Control de Gestion, Accounting, Risk Departments ) for enhancing monitoring of PL and/or risks
