**The vacancy for a Manager Breeding Operations at Rijk Zwaan**:
The Manager Breeding Operations directly supervises the R&D station managers and, where necessary, provides specialist knowledge in the team to support the various implementation groups. This is done in close contact with the station managers and breeding managers and in consultation with municipalities, provinces, and other authorities.

**You are responsible for**:

- support and lead the R&D station managers
- ensure a long-term vision on R&D implementation
- communication and atmosphere within the implementation.
- good and productive communication between R&D execution and its customers.
- planning of personnel and investments for R&D implementation in Spain
- organization of innovation in R&D execution.
- implementation of approved personnel and investment plans.
- maintenance of the Rijk Zwaan facilities that manage the R&D implementation.

**We are seeking a Manager Breeding Operations with the following criteria**:

- Master degree or higher in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture
- Knowledge of seed business and plant genetics
- At least 5 year of experience managing a station
- Organization and planning profile
- Strong interest in people development, Team oriented
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Being able to work and communicate in an international R&D network
- Advanced level in English (speaking as well as being able to write reports in English)
