For our client, a multinational company in the Retail sector, we are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner. We are looking for a real generalist role with focus on Talent Acquisition and Development, building up the position from the scratch.

MISSION
As a strong leadership personality, the HR Business Partner is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the HR team and assumes the most important role in building a sustainable HR department in the regional companies.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implementation of the personnel policy in the regional company
- Creation of a transparent and trusting management culture
- Support with reorganization measures and change initiatives
- Competent and critical sparring partner of the management team, especially in
HR Marketing / Recruiting
Performance / Talent Management activities
Job evaluations / Descriptions
Compensation Management
Personnel planning
Onboarding,
Further education and training
- Interface between regional company and the HR department
- Labor and works constitution law advice / support in the implementation of disciplinary measures
- Trusting cooperation with the works council
- Participation and independent takeover of projects incl. project management planning
- Having a strategic focus as a Change Agent regarding to activities such as Diversity,
Reward Management

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
- Studies in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology etc.
- At least 7 years of experience in human resources
- At least 3 years of experience in a leading HR function
- Knowledge of labor and works constitution law required
- Moderation and coaching experience required
- Experience in the retail or logistics sector would be an advantage
