**Brand Lead - Rare Metabolic Diseases**
**ROLE OBJECTIVE**:
As Brand Lead, you will rapidly build an in-depth understanding of customer and patient needs in the Rare Diseases space to better assess and identify customer needs. Furthermore, this in-depth understanding of the market environment (including competitive intelligence) will allow you to anticipate market trends and create insights which you will convert into a compelling customer engagement strategy.
You will help maintain the high customer focus within the RMD team by spending a significant amount of time with customers, leveraging strong cross-functional collaboration and placing patients and customers at the centre of every business decision.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
- Maximize brand performance by leading Brand Strategy implementation through a Strategic Marketing Plan oriented to tactical objective achievement (including EUCAN Plan adaptation, promotional materials and Omnichannel solutions development, and customized customer programs creation);
- Have a strong understanding of the local market and closely monitors environmental changes and competitor activities in order to be able to identify actions to strengthen product positioning
- Develop and maintain strong, effective and constructive team relationships (Agency, Specialists and their associations, Advisory groups) and KOL networks to ensure ethical and high-level exchange of scientific information to inform and develop national brand strategy
- Direct generation and analysis of data to seek out opportunities to support recommendations for strategic direction based on demand and market dynamics
- Develop effective and constructive working relationships throughout the Business Unit and Takeda LOC in general and with the Brand Team, Takeda Market Access department and Takeda Medical Department
- Partner with the KAM team/ Sales force to provide strategic direction in the development of training material and programs
- Develop key financial tasks for the brand including the development of annual budgets, operating plan, market sales, monthly sales forecast (in liaison with Supply), regular updates, etc.
- Analyze market, consumer, and competitive information to support brand manager in setting new product pricing and managing price on existing items including periodical reviews of these analysis
- Utilizing new market research approaches with business partners to assess business risks and opportunities. Proactively identifying brand opportunities and issues that require analysis of Business Information to create new approaches or new market opportunities.
**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**
**Your Profile**:
- University degree (marketing, science preferably)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in pharmaceutical industry
- Strong Business acumen and ability to understand and actively contribute to the management of a P&L
- Proven experience in successful launches in the Specialty area would be an advantage
- Strong leadership skills and cross-functional teambuilding capabilities
- Ability to manage complex networks
- Fluent written & spoken in Spanish and English
**Best chance criteria**
- Rare diseases MKTG specific experience is preferred
- Strong Communication & interpersonal skills with an ability to influence at high level
- In depth knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and codices for pharmaceutical industry
**Strong leadership skills and cross-functional teambuilding capabilities**
- Outside thinking rather inside focus; advocating patient and Healthcare Provider (HCP) perspective into the organization
- Willingness to spend high amount of time with customers
- Analytical, converts information into insights; monitoring market trends, uncovering unmet needs, identifying risks, barriers and opportunities at national level
