Swedish Translator

Pierce is one of Europe’s most successful online retailers. We are looking for a Swedish Translator in Barcelona, Spain, where we have opened a brand new Support office near Sagrada Familia. The team there will provide great translations for most of our European markets and we expect it to keep expanding.

Translators will have the critical task of translating web content for the Pierce customers. Our clients not only expect great products at the best prices. They have come to know us as friendly motorcycle experts who love to help people enjoy riding. As part of this experience, we provide high-quality translated descriptions of all products on our website. While performing this critical job, you will receive great support from our dedicated Team Leader and team.

**Essential duties and responsibilities**:

- You will translate product descriptions and other marketing content across the Pierce websites **from English to Swedish**:

- You will convey the friendly and professional Pierce tone of voice in your translations
- You will connect with the team to ensure that all translations meet our technical and written quality standards
- You will work with set priorities and help to keep the rapidly expanding Pierce product catalogue up to date in all languages

**Specific day to day activities will include**:

- Translate product descriptions from English to Swedish
- Translate other marketing web content
- Participate in team coordination meetings
- Review performance metrics

Your native language is **Swedish **and you have completed your basic education in a **Swedish-speaking** institution
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- You have a high level of computer literacy and typing skills
- You bring a can-do attitude, solution orientation and a positive mindset
- Experience within a contact center environment
- Previous experience translating in a fast-growing online retail environment is considered a plus, as is any affinity with motorcycles

**Temporary contract : 5 months**
**Part-time : 25 hours / week**
**Yearly salary : 12179 euros
