Swedish Translator

Pierce is one of Europe’s most successful online retailers. We are growing rapidly, and we are currently looking for Translators in Barcelona, Spain, where we have opened a brand new Support office right on Plaza Cataluña. The team there will provide great translations for most of our European markets and we expect it to continue to keep expanding.

Translators will have the critical task of translating web content for the Pierce customers. Our clients not only expect great products at the best prices. They have come to know us as friendly motorcycle experts who love to help people enjoy riding. As part of this experience we provide high quality translated descriptions of all products on our website. While performing this critical job, you will receive great support from our dedicated and experienced management.

We are passionate about riding motorcycles and have an exciting program for employees who want to learn to ride or get more involved in motorsport.

SKILLS \& REQUIREMENTS

**Knowledge, skills & abilities**:
You have excellent oral and written communication skills in your native language: Swedish but are also fluent in English
You have a high level of computer literacy and typing skills
You bring a can-do attitude, are solution oriented and have a positive mindset
You have experience within a contact center environment
Previous experience translating in a fast-growing online retail environment is considered a plus, as is any affinity with motorcycles

Essential duties & Responsibilities

You will translate product descriptions and other content across the Pierce websites from English
You will convey the friendly and professional Pierce tone of voice in your translations
You will connect with the team to ensure that all translations meet our technical and written quality standards
You will work with set priorities and help to keep the rapidly expanding Pierce product catalog up to date in all languages

**Specific day-to-day tasks will include**:
Translate product descriptions from English
Translate other marketing web content from English
Participate in team coordination meetings
Review performance metrics

Permanent contract. Based in Barcelona.

Part time (5 hours / day) - 1015 euros / Month
