Senior Railway Systems Project Manager

As a Senior Railway Systems Project manager, you will contribute to the definition, development and management of Rail Systems Major Projects.

+ Responsible for preparation of project execution plans, setting up the scope, the schedule and the resourcing

+ Monitor project performance, cost and program progress

+ Manage design organization within the project

+ Ensure quality management processes are followed

+ Overall responsibility for the submission of project deliverables

+ Contribute to design & development, design risk & mitigation, value engineering

+ Ensure that the technical and safety standards are maintained in all aspects of design work to achieve a successful project implementation and future reliability

+ Attend design team meetings as appropriate.

+ Coordination with other disciplines. Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.

+ Report to the client project development and performance

+ Attend meetings with client, authorities, and stakeholders

+ Lead bid processes to develop winning proposals in collaboration with other business lines or offices

+ Participate in large tender process

+ Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.

+ Carry out risk assessments and provision for Health and Safety management.

+ Be able to act as technical advisor and reviewer for design teams

+ Provide specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise

+ Obtain design information from sub-consultants and equipment suppliers.

+ Review detailed design information

+ Produce technical reports.

+ Check project specifications and standards for construction.

Previous experience is necessary in these systems design consultancy fields:
+ Traction Power and electrification

+ EMC

+ Signaling & Telecommunication systems

+ Earthing and bonding

+ Depot equipment

+ Rolling stock

+ Platform screen doors

+ RAMS understanding process

+ High and Medium Voltage power distribution

Minimum Requirements

+ Proven post-graduate experience (+10 years)

+ Experience in Railway Systems Design and Management

+ Additional Comments (Hiring manager completion required, if applicable)

+ Valuable French and Italian

**Specific Skills Required**:
+ Experience in D&B large schemes (projects and proposals) is highly desired.

+ Good understanding of design and construction phases of major projects

+ Knowledgeable of standards and norms, especially CENELEC and ANSI, IEEE.

+ Proficiency in English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

+ MSc in Engineering
