Logistics Technician

Fall Creek is creating a world with better blueberries through its friendly, collaborative team spread across the globe. To help us accomplish this, we are seeking a qualified extTitle This position will be located in Aznalcazar, Sevilla.
**Position Summary**:
Under instructions, this position is responsible for supervising EU shipments to customers, others EU shipments in and out for different departments, labeling and shipment of liners to other FC nurseries in EU and assisting to Export Specialist, according to Fall Creek Standards and Procedures
**ORGANIZATIONAL FIT**:
This position reports to the Ops Manager and works closely with Export Specialist and other departments in the nursery and other subsidiaries in Fall Creek.
**JOB SETTING**:
Office settings. Occasional travel may be required.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**: (Other duties could be assigned)
Manage shipping meetings working closely with other departments to plan shipments in advance.
Monitor and track national and intra-community shipments, ensuring documentation requirements.
Track shipments arrival and resolve any incidents during transit.
Support the Export Specialist with the preparation and management of export documentation, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
Ensure accurate preparation and submission of all customs clearance paperwork for international shipments.
Perform supplier prospecting, looking for the best service for the transportation of our plants and the best quotation to the different export destinations.
Collaborate in organizing intra-community shipments for other departments: R&D (plants to testing fields or to CPVO), Production (material from different European suppliers), Marketinganyone who need logistic support.
Coordinate transport from EU suppliers to our nursery according to the provided schedule and destination departments need.
**Other administrative tasks as**: process of purchasing for services, and process of goods receipt, checking and validate Logistics invoices prior to approval by Export & Logistic Manager, tracking expenses, to organize courier shipments
Performs special projects and other work as assigned.
**REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND TRAINING**:
Administrative training (undergraduate vocational training or vocational training).
Requires previous experience in logistics
Ability to speak/write English at a high level.
Attention to detail skills and ability to perform work accurately and without errors.
Frustration tolerance skills.
Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
