Junior Reporting Business Manager

Scope Ratings is looking for a Junior Reporting Business Manager in a dynamic credit rating agency. As a Reporting Business Manager, you will be part of our EU-based Credit Rating Operations team, primary based in Frankfurt. You will support the senior managers of the team and will work in cross functional teams at Scope. You will support projects and tasks in Credit Rating Operations. A key part of your tasks will be your contribution, to our Regulatory Reporting team. Your responsibility is to ensure that Scope carries out its regulatory obligations within the established deadlines. A focus will be the support and execution of a conflict-of-Interest check process. You will work very closely with members of internal review and compliance functions. In addition, you will contribute your excellent business management skills combined with your analytical skills within our road to a digital and data driven Rating platform.
Your tasks & responsibilities
- Creation of internal performance indicators and regulatory reports using Business Intelligence tools
- Oversight and management of the periodic and daily regulatory reporting with ESMA, FCA, FINMA and other Supervisory authorities.
- Operate/Analyze the day-to-day Conflict of Interest tasks and support the related process
- Data quality control, their analysis and return to the regulator and to the appropriate teams at Scope
- Collaborating with team members and stakeholders at Scope to develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
- Support and drive digitalization initiatives on projects and processes
- Understand and support the Credit Rating Operations team and individual team members with their tasks
- Ensures adherence to legal rules and guidelines
- Interaction with compliance
- Identify and address or solve ad hoc problems in the operations and reporting team

Your professional & personal profile
- Bachelor´s or master´s degree in law, economics, Finance/business administration or in relevant field of business sciences or similar work experience
- Fluency in at least a major European language (German and / or French preferred) in addition to English
- First experience in a business / reporting manager role, ideally in the financial industry with a business-critical regulatory framework
- Experience in Regulatory Reporting is a plus
- Ability to familiarize yourself quickly with the regulatory environment of Credit Rating Agencies, previous work experience with ESMA would be a plus
- Strong understanding of business processes and related regulatory requirements
- Strong communication skills, through all hierarchy levels.
- Strong attention to details and technicalities.
- Critical judgment and strong analytical skills
- Good knowledge of project management methodologies
- Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
- Willingness to take responsibility and work independently
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project)
- Excellent Knowledge on Business Intelligence tools is a plus, e.g. Power BI, Tableau
- Experience in Jira/Confluence and Microsoft SharePoint
