The AECOM Madrid Design Office is currently looking for a experienced Structural Engineer to join our talented team working on important projects across the world.

We are looking for someone interested in developing within the structures discipline to continue and enhance our building and viaduct work. This is an opportunity to lead more junior engineers on projects within design team and become part of a growing international team. The responsibilities of the role are primarily:
+ Lead structural designs and calculations on international projects.

+ Coordinate between structural discipline and other departments.

+ Creating of calculation and project narrative documentation.

+ Specification creation and editing.

+ Finite Element analysis modelling incorporated into BIM platforms.

+ Project management and client interaction.

Minimum Requirements

We require, at least, 7 years’ experience in Structural Design/Calculations and Building Engineering.

English (Advanced) is a must and French is positively valued.

**Experience in the following is desired**:
+ CYPE (Embedded retaining walls / Steel sheet pilings), MIDAS-Civil, STATIK / CEDRUS (Cubus) / ETABS / SAP2000 / FAGUS (Cubus), Structural Bridge Design / Sam (AutoDesk) / AutoCAD, Excel, Presto.

+ BIM platforms - REVIT

**+ Codes/Standards**: Spanish National Codes, AASHTO/ACI/ASTM, Eurocodes.

+ Availability to travel and work for specific short and medium periods of time in other countries.
