Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Structural Engineer role based in Madrid. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for conducting structural analysis and calculations for new and existing projects. Day-to-day tasks include designing and reviewing structural systems, collaborating with civil engineers and architects, utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, and ensuring all designs comply with local codes and safety standards. The role involves solving engineering challenges, contributing to construction planning, and inspecting building structures during and post-construction.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering principles
  • Strong skills in Structural Analysis and performing detailed calculations
  • Expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and related tools
  • Experience in developing and reviewing accurate structural plans and models
  • Knowledge of construction processes, building materials, and safety codes
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and analytical capabilities
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification or the equivalent is a significant advantage
  • Previous experience in large-scale construction projects is preferred
