VHIR offers a vacancy for a Researcher with experience in experimental animal models for the Translational Molecular Pathology Group. **Education and qualifications**: **Required**: - PhD in the field of life sciences Fluency in Spanish and English (business level) **Desired**: Animal experimentation certification **Experience and knowledge**: **Required**: - Experience in a research laboratory (> 10years) - Extensive knowledge in the area of small molecule inhibitors and their further development - Previous experience in a molecular biology research laboratory - Implementation and standardization of new laboratory techniques - Experience in managing a research laboratory (>5years) - Experience in the design of experiments for the research project - Experience in guidance of personnel (PhD and Master Students) involved in the project **Desired**: - Experience in pharmaceutical chemistry is a plus **Main responsibilities and duties**: - Coordinate and manage the research group Translational Molecular Pathology - Guide the PhD students in carrying out their research projects **Labour conditions**: - Full-time position: 40/week - Starting date: December - Gross annual salary: 32.000,00 - 35.000,00 (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills.
