**FUNCTIONS**: Our client, an investment fund with participation in renewable generation projects of different technologies and based in Madrid, is looking for a "Head of electricity markets & regulation". Functions: -Responsible for the analysis of the energy market and its regulation in the countries where the company operates. -Analysis and prediction of market prices for the purchase and sale of energy. -Review of the regulatory framework and regulations in force and their possible impact on the projects. -Development of possible strategies in the markets and new opportunities to improve current projects based on new technologies (storage, hydrogen) and business models that can be replicated in other countries. -Analysis of access and connection requirements and grid code compliance. -Development of strategies to optimize the operation in the different interenational energy markets, supported after the development of financial models adapted to these. Requirements: -Industrial Engineering degree or similar. -At least 7 years of experience in analysis and behavior of the electricity market and energy purchase and sale processes. -Experience in regulation, permits and grid connection requirements. -Knowledge of renewable energies and electrical grids. -High level of English (C1)
