What You Will Achieve
You will be part of a dynamic team of experts who form Pfizer’s Environment, Health & Safety division. Due to the importance of this team for Pfizer’s employees and patients, the organization relies heavily on its team members’ timely actions and decision-making ability.
You will be responsible for activities related to interpreting, recommending and compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations/company policies. You will also assist in planning the changes in physical facilities to meet new environmental requirements. You will support the team in preparing contracts for licensed hazardous and radioactive waste disposal firms, monitoring waste handling and organizing spill-control teams. Your knowledge base will help you in updating environmental and spill-control manuals and procedures.
How You Will Achieve It
- Participate in regulatory inspections and inquiries involving environmental, health and safety issues.
- Train other individuals with training responsibilities so that they can communicate information to others within their organizations, as needed.
- Perform site inspections and recommend, monitor and implement corrective and preventive actions, as required.
- Comply with the regulatory requirements of safety case assessment guide.
**Qualifications**:
Must-Have
- Bachelor's Degree
- Some EHS experience
- Knowledge proficiency in waste characterization and identification
- local safety and environmental legislation
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment systems
- Good interpersonal skills, creativity in problem solving, flexibility, and excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of computer operation and experience with MS Office, especially Word, Excel, Outlook
Nice-to-Have
- Master's degree ( Prevención de Riesgos Laborales 3 especialidades, finalizado y sin haber realizado contrato en prácticas previamente)
- Pharmaceutical industry knowledge
