While all Animation studios look to hire people who are creative and hard-working, Skydance Animation is specifically looking for pioneers who seek to push the limits of what the world’s most collaborative art form can achieve, and to give those pioneers the space and the resources to build a new studio that’s doing something different.As a **Junior Production Accountant**, you will be managing the budget & control process.

Under the supervision of a Senior Accountant, you will assist in the preparation and submission of monthly cost control reports and productions budgets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for reconciling general ledger accounts for productions.
- Responsible for monitoring the analytical distribution of project staff.
- Responsible for assisting in the month-end accounting process reports, ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with the closing procedures.
- Responsible for providing financial status information and preparing month-end reports.
- Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures.
- Responsible for budgeting based on production plans.
- Accomplishes accounting and organization targets as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Accounting degree or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting firm.
- Experience in an accounting department, dealing with month-end closing and daily duties.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel,
- Knowledge of Navision, Power BI, and other accounting software programs is a plus.
- Keen attention to detail
- Solid communication, technology, analytical, and management skills.
- High level of English and Spanish.
