Programme Overview
The Traineeship lasts seven months, with the potential for a full-time Junior Consultant role in Düsseldorf, provided there is a mutual fit both professionally and personally.
**Phase 1 - Immersion in Barcelona (6 months)**:
- ** Immersion**:Get immersed in the company culture and learn from our local team specialising in mobility, energy, and circularity.
- ** Mentorship**: Work closely with a local mentor to gain first-hand project experience.
- ** Training**: Participate in training sessions to develop your skills in innovation and related technologies.
**Phase 2 - Integration in Düsseldorf (1 month)**
- ** Project work**: Transfer to our new German office in Düsselforf to work on primarily German projects in mobility, energy, and circularity.
- ** Collaboration**: Collaborate with the head of the German office on national funding programmes and other initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities**
- ** Project Support**: Assist in the development and execution of innovation initiatives funded by EU-wide and national programmes.
- ** Impact Assessment**: Support the evaluation of economic, environmental, and societal impacts of innovative projects in mobility, energy, and circularity.
- ** Business Model Development**: Help create business models and strategies for the introduction and adoption of new solutions.
- ** Industry Engagement**: Participate in industry events and conferences to stay updated on the latest trends.

**Qualifications**:
- ** Education**: MSc Master’s degree in a field related to mobility, energy, circularity, or business.
- ** Experience**: 0-2 years of professional experience in related sectors, ideally focused on innovation.
- ** Language Proficiency**: High level (C2) German speaker with fluency in English, both written and oral. Proficiency in Dutch or other EU languages is advantageous.
- ** Communication Skills**: Exceptional ability to craft persuasive arguments and translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language.
**Soft skills**:
- Strong independence and a self-starter.
- Professional communication skills when interacting with partners and clients.
- Ability to lead discussions and conduct public presentations effectively.
