Ai Strategy

As the AI Strategy Programme Lead, you will spearhead the delivery of projects within the AI Strategy & Innovation Team, ensuring alignment with our overarching vision and business strategy. Your role is pivotal in delivering substantial business value to our stakeholders, requiring a strong partnership ethos and a focus on innovative delivery methods. You will navigate through the complexities of project delivery with agility and a keen eye on risk management, ensuring adherence to budget and timelines while fostering stakeholder engagement across Business, IT, and external partners.

The role views process as guidance and looks for innovative means to expedite delivery. You must ensure that delivery occurs with a sense of urgency and can be completed within the approved platform/project budget and timelines, whilst continuously assessing risk and balancing the need for flexibility and agility with conformance to standard methods and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the strategic planning and execution of the AI Strategy programme, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering business value.
- Coordinate the development of projects roadmaps, defining the scope, objectives, and deliverables across multiple projects within the AI Strategy portfolio.
- Oversee programme budgets, ensuring financial control and reporting in line with organizational standards and expectations.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, driving effective communication and stakeholder engagement across Business, IT, and external partners.
- Implement governance structures and processes to ensure programme delivery is in accordance with approved methodologies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Champion risk management across the programme, identifying potential risks and devising effective mitigation strategies.
- Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and innovative delivery approaches to enhance programme efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead the identification, tracking, and realization of programme benefits, ensuring that value is delivered and recognized by stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects/programmes, preferably with budgets exceeding $10m.
- A minimum of 10 years experience in blue-chip or multinational companies, with a strong background in project management.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale budgets and financial reporting.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and control large projects, including planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder reporting.
- Competency in chairing and facilitating high-level meetings, with the ability to influence and inform senior stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of agile delivery methodologies and experience in driving complex plans across multiple delivery teams.
- Experience in developing and implementing governance structures and processes for programme management.
- Familiarity with IT quality documentation management and regulatory IT audits, including GxP system delivery.
- Experience in negotiating and collaborating with external vendors and suppliers, both onshore and offshore.
- Background in AI technology projects, prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry required.

Education, Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Science/Mathematics or equivalent
- Master’s degree
