Release Manager

**Our opportunity**

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Release manager to join our international Business Technology Solutions organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating releases and ensure environment readiness across the dev and production stack in an agile project, making sure that all gates requirements are met for every environment in an agile delivery methodology.

**Your role**

**As a Release manager** your main responsibilities will involve**
- Working with colleagues and business stakeholders, using agile methodologies to coordinate timely releases per environment, data and testing readiness as agreed with the test lead.
- Support change management working closely with dev and test leads (estimations, sequences, dependencies) and platform manager.
- Manage communications across multiple business units to ensure seamless deployments and continuous deliveries.
- Establish, maintain, communicate release calendars.
- Help automate and improve deployment, build scripts and release notes

**Your Skills and Experience**

**As a release manager, your skills and qualifications will ideally include**:

- University level education or equivalent.
- +5-10 years’ Experience creating solutions with.NET tools,.NET Core 6 and ASP.NET
- Strong knowledge of project management principles.
- Familiarity with Azure devops component and processes.
- Team collaboration skills
- Having experience in insurance and especially in the actuarial domain is highly desirable
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Familiarity with analytics (modeling, prediction, segmentation) preferred
- Excellent English and communication skills.

Primary work location is Barcelona. Option to telework from any location within Spain territory is also feasible.

This position requires approximately 10 days of travel per year.
