As HSE & BCM Head in our Palafolls site, you will e nsure that both legal and Sandoz's requirements are met in the areas of health, safety at the workplace, industrial safety and environmental protection, being responsible for the implementation of and compliance to the principles and practices of the Sandoz Manufacturing Manual at the site.

As appropriate, responsible for implementation of, compliance to and governance of practices specifically prescribed to this role by the Sandoz Manufacturing Manual.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Get and maintain legal approval to operate within the environmental regulations.
- Ensure safe workplaces and processes by helping the organization to integrate these responsibility in the areas and line management.
- Ensures Corporate HSE guidelines are implemented and reviewed.
- Get and maintain HSE management international systems like ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001.
- Emergency preparedness according to both internal and external requirements.
- Administration of BCM systems.
- IGM coordination in HSE.
- Ensure compliance with NFCM having appropriate documented internal controls.
- Ensure timely reporting of HSE key figures within local requirements and Novartis systems.
- Promote health amongst workforce according to Novartis policies and systems (Be Healthy program)

What you'll bring to the role:

- University Degree and Master in labor risk prevention according to Spanish legislation.
- Fluent Spanish and English
- Significant experience in industrial activities, HSE, good knowledge of EU and Spanish regulations on HSE.
- Experience overseeing external contractors and third parties involved in construction and maintenance matters.
- Project management skills
