(now Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc.) and Johnson Controls, Inc. Hitachi Appliances carved out and contributed its air conditioning business to the Joint Venture. Johnson Controls acquired a 60% stake of the carved-out business and Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc. continues as a 40% shareholder of this venture. With this joint venture, two rich, 100-year-old cultures and histories have come together to create one exciting new company, serving our combined customers with the most diverse product portfolio in the air conditioning industry. For our Vacarisses Plant, in Barcelona, we are looking for a: **Workshops Demmand Planner Purchasing** **What you will do** This Demand Planning position is responsible for forecasting activities associated with customers and products. The person selected will create and maintain forecast models for the product line and customers by incorporating business intelligence from sales, marketing and finance. This role is the key liaison between Customers, Sales & the internal supply planning team, and will lead the dialogue periodically for their respective customers and products with special relations with Sales and Marketing. **How you will do it** - Baseline forecast generation; run analyses on historical data and "clean" events, collect & agree baseline assumptions with input from commercial teams, run and evaluate statistical forecasting models. - Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function. - Responsible for enriching base forecasts with 'special events' (eg; marketing campaigns, etc..) based on inputs from marketing, sales, customer collaboration and customers. - Lead monthly demand review with sales and marketing teams, reaching a consensus demand plan. - Contribute to improvements to ways of working within the Demand planning and the EU Operations team. - Supports the development and maintenance of the sourcing metrics and scorecards, based on analysis of reports and consolidated data. Monitors sourcing KPI’s and drives them into actions. - Contributes in driving operational excellence when translating business strategies & decisions into effective & compliant execution of all related policies and processes. Identifies best business practices via finance / business performance benchmarking and facilitates the implementation of these practices, maximizing its standardization across the region by supporting in creation and implementation of processes (ex. Playbook). **What we are looking for** Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering or related. Supply chain master’s degree (a plus). Minimum a year of experience in a Demand Planning role. Knowledge of working in SAP environment Experienced with ERP and Planning Tools. Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills. Strong data analytics skills, able to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data. Strong agility, taking responsibility/making decisions in uncertain environments. Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
