We're looking for a Demand Planner & Buying Controller with a global vision and a keen analytical mind to optimize our product availability and purchasing efficiency.As a Demand Planner & Buying Controller, you will be responsible for planning and managing product demand, overseeing the purchasing process, and supervising the production of our private labels, alongside the replenishment of imported brands. Your main objective will be to ensure optimal product availability across all sales channels (B2B and B2C), maximizing operational efficiency, and guaranteeing adherence to the purchasing budget. If you think you’re the perfect candidate, please apply We can't wait to meet youPlease note:Our Demand Planner & Buying Controller will be based in Barcelona .What will be your responsibilities?Continuously evaluate historical and current sales data.Identify trends, seasonality, and behavioral patterns by channel and category.Global & Channel Demand Forecasting (B2B/B2C)Generate and periodically update product forecasts.Coordinate with the E-commerce, Wholesale, and Marketing teams to align predictions.Purchasing & Production PlanningPlan and monitor purchases of external brands.Plan the production of our private labels (Ondo and Meisani) in collaboration with external factories and internal teams.Optimize replenishment processes to ensure adequate product coverage.Control inventory levels and stock rotation.Budget ExecutionMonitor the purchasing budget closely.Control deviations and propose corrective measures to maintain financial alignment.Reporting & AnalysisGenerate reports and dashboards for key KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy, coverage, rotation).Provide support for strategic decision-making through updated analytical information.MIN REQUIREMENTS:What are we looking for?Degree in Business Administration (ADE), Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field.Fluent in English and Spanish, Catalan is a plus.Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in demand planning, purchasing, or controlling within retail, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or mass-consumer goods environments.Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
