The role will be based in Madrid. Key job responsibilities A successful Senior Vendor Manager will be able to: - Act as the 'business owner' for assigned vendors, with a deep understanding of internal and external variables that impact your business, including selection, pricing, availability, forecasting, and operational excellence - Maximize profitability and selection expansion opportunities - Manage vendor relationships - manage supplier/partner contracts, manage day-to-day relationships, and negotiate and secure marketing funds - Develop innovative ways of launching new features that improve the customer experience - Develop a thorough understanding of the industry, trends, and future trajectory - Communicate effectively across all levels of leadership, both internally and externally
- Several years relevant business experience
- Highly analytical skill set with aptitude for data-driven argumentation (SQL would be a plus).
- Experience in Program or Project Management.
- Strong communication skills with experience managing external relationships.
