**MISSION**
Plan, organize and direct, or provide support, in the technical studies, engineering development and construction of EDPR's electrical infrastructure projects in accordance with the parameters of quality, cost and specified deadlines, to ensure that strategic renewable energy projects are developed efficiently and delivered to the operating units finished and received for commercial operation.
Manage and coordinate internal team members efforts (control, protection, electromechanical, HV lines) to guarantee the correct support during the project E&C indicated stages.
**MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES**
**1. ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURES PROJECT(s) ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT**:
Provide Technical Support to the local Engineering teams of the different platforms (EU, LATAM, APAC and NA) as informed, consulted or responsible depending on the type of task and based on the current Responsibility Matrix (agreed with the teams of E&C, Technology, IT and RODC) regarding to the electrical infrastructure projects of the different EDPR countries in, as well as coordinating and/or supervising the performance of engineering or other entities that collaborate technically with EDPR in the indicated projects, in order to ensure the technical solvency and technical-economic efficiency of them. The support will be extended during the different stages of the project (engineering) lifetime:
- **CONCEPT DESIGN**:
- Collaboration with the local Engineering Team(s), the Electrical Technology Team and RODC/IT in reviewing the conceptual design of the Electrical Infrastructure and interconnection solution with the DSO/TSO, and in particular its compliance with the Grid Code and relevant technical instructions and the global assessment of the impact with the DSO/TSO asset (under operation, under design).
- **BASIC PROJECT**:
- Collaboration with the local Engineering Team(s), for the review of the statements along the Grid connection agreement related the Interconnection Solution(s) for the Protections, Metering, Dispatch operational obligations, Communications (Dispatch and TSO/DSO),
- Communications (Protections, Metering),
- Monitoring, Dispatching & Operation (scheme(s) review),
- Grid Code compliance,
- Grid Code Assessment.
- Reactive Power Compensation Study, static curve PQ, QV at PCC for WF and PV plants,
- Internal and interconnection network Load Flow Study ,
- Total Losses Study.- **EXECUTION DESIGN**:
- Collaboration with the local Engineering Team(s), the Electrical Technology Team and RODC/IT in reviewing:
- Substation Execution Design,
- Substation Electromechanical design,
- Power Transformer Definition for RFP,
- Power Transformer Short Circuit Study,
- External communications (Dispatch and TSO/DSO) design,
- Internal site architecture and communications design,
- HVL - Layout, long profiles, foundations, towers and cables definition,
- Layout, circuits and sections definition,
- Dynamic model and Grid Code compliance simulations (P-f, P, Q, cos fi, LVRT ).
- Management, in coordination with the local Engineering Team(s), of:
- Substation SLD HV/MV/AA.SS Functional Drawings,
- Substation Secondary Drawings,
- Substation ICPS Arquitecture and Signal List(s),
- Other necessary engineering electrical studies, as induced voltages, etc.- **TENDER PHASE**:
- Collaboration with the local Engineering & Construction Team(s) and RODC/IT in the preparation of the technical documents for the RfPs to be launched by Procurement Team(s) to the market including the full review of the (tender) technical documents for:
- Substation,
- HVL (OHL and/or UGC),
- Full Communication (internal&external) architecture.
- Management, in collaboration with the local Engineering & Construction Team(s), Technology Electrical Team and the Procurement Team(s), of the review of the offers coming from the tender phase for:
- BAFO Substation Offers ( SICP, Electrical Equipment, tests),
- BAFO HVL Offers,
- Power Transformer Offers,
- Technical Engineering specification of Grid Code Compliance.
- Collaboration with the local Engineering & Construction Team(s), Technology Electrical Team and the Procurement Team(s), of the review of the offers coming from the tender phase for:
- Power Transformer - Capitalization of electrical losses,
- BOP (PV Inverters, MV cables PCS,..),
- WTG (SCADA/PPC included),
- PV SCADA,
- Construction & Manufacture Planning,
- Connection agreement contract,
- PPC FDS (in WTGs, Inverters, PPC and EI).
**2. ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURES PROJECT(s) CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT**:
