Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong MEP construction experience to support a major large-scale construction project in Spain. The role will be site-based and will involve overseeing electrical installation, coordination with MEP disciplines, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and in compliance with project specifications and local regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage electrical installation works across a large-scale construction project Coordinate electrical scope with mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire systems as part of the wider MEP package Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and schematics Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance to ensure quality and programme adherence Support installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems Ensure all works comply with Spanish regulations, European standards, and project HSE requirements Attend site meetings and provide regular progress and technical reports Interface with project management, QA/QC, HSE, and client representatives Electrical Systems ScopeLV & MV power distribution Transformers, switchgear, panels, and containment Earthing and lightning protection systems Lighting and emergency lighting Cable routing, tray, ladder, and conduit systems Interface with BMS, fire alarm, and life-safety systems RequirementsDegree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering Proven experience on large-scale construction projects (industrial, infrastructure, or complex buildings) Strong background in MEP coordination and site-based delivery Experience working with EPCs, main contractors, or major subcontractors Knowledge of Spanish electrical regulations and EU standards Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary construction environment DesirablePrevious experience on complex or high-value construction projects Commissioning or testing experience Spanish speaking (Fluent)
