**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**

Purchasing Manager is responsible for coordinating and optimizing of the purchasing. Manage end product importation from other companies of the group.

**JOB CONTEXT**

In dependence of General Manager, coordinate and optimize of the purchasing according to the guidelines of all the departments in the company and the group involved. This position is in charge of leading and coordinating its team to properly develop purchasing strategy. The Purchasing Manager is member of Management Team.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Develop and implement continuous improvement of the purchase projects.
- Plan, coordinate, perform and monitor the acquisition of raw materials and trying to get the lowest cost and the highest quality.
- Take part in the design of plans, systems, tracking systems to help implement efficiently needs for materials. Propose improvements in the procedures.
- Analyse proposals from suppliers, negotiate and close contracts.
- Search, select and maintain competitive suppliers.
- Find new products, materials and sources of supplies as well as carry out comparative analysis for cost control.
- Calculation and analysis of coverage.
- Represent the company in those sectors, intergroup or suppliers where necessary, ensuring the interests of Skretting.
- Collaborate by calculating standard cost of raw materials, in the calculation of standard cost of manufactured products.
- Conduct and supervise reports to general management in procurement and supplies (risk and hedging calculation).
- Conduct audits to suppliers (global and local). Collaborate with Technical Manager in proper monitoring of the actions arising from these audits.
