As part of the continued growth of our business, we are looking to hire an experienced **Senior HVAC Engineering Designer** to lead and delivering upstanding mechanical engineering projects.These projects span a diverse range of construction sectors including among others, Industrial, Healthcare, Education, Leisure, Aviation, Commercial and Defense.

As a **Senior HVAC Engineer**, you will be expected to:
- Guide and lead technical design throughout the project lifecycle.- Coordinate mechanical system design with electrical engineers, architects, and other design professionals.- Design HVAC, Controls and Plumbing facilities.- Perform HVAC calculations and analysis using standard industry programs (i.e. Carrier HAP);- Perform calculations, conduct design drawing reviews, and field investigations;- Perform studies to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of design alternatives, and recommend alternatives for implementation.- Develop technical specifications, plans, elevations, section and details.- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards / practices.- Go to site visits, and construction inspections as needed.- Engaging regularly with the Client and different stakeholders to build and maintain positive collaborative relationships.

**Qualifications**

BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar field will be essential.- Strong technical background, minimum 10 years of related **HVAC / Mechanical Design Engineering experience for different kind of buildings.**- Good knowledge in international regulations and standards (AHSRAE, IMC, BS, CIBSE, etc).- Proficiency in engineering calculation software such as HAP, Cype, Lider, Calener and/or any other similar software. Knowledge in IES will be a plus.**Fluent in English and Spanish** (verbal and written).- Plumbing and Fire Protection systems design experience is a plus- Experience with Revit will be an asset.- Excellent communication skills- Leadership skills will be essential for this role.- Ability to concisely express complex system solutions in very early design phases.
