The role will be a Graduate Civil Engineer with a focus on railway projects based in the Madrid Office supporting railway projects in the UK, Spain and Internationally.

**Tasks**:
+ Working for a lead civil engineer assigned to specific railway projects to deliver railway civil design elements

+ Coordinating with designers based in Madrid and the AECOM client organisations based in the UK or elsewhere

+ Collaborating between AECOM offices in different regions

+ Developing civil engineering designs for railway projects including drainage, foundations, utility routes and crossings and minor structures

+ Coordinating with railway designers in other teams including track and alignment designers, railway systems designers, architects, MEP and structural designers

+ Participating in design processes including civil engineering calculations, drawings and models

+ Supporting rail design managers and project managers in the delivery of international and national railway projects

+ Being part of a larger team of railway engineers and specialists

High level of english and spanish
