As one of the longest established of Cundall’s disciplines, the Civil Engineering team are a source of leading expertise – offering a pro‑active and collaborative approach to skill development, and professional excellence.The Role You'll PlayThis is an excellent opportunity for a talented Civil Engineer to join our Madrid office to work on the design of some of the most exciting and challenging built environment projects across Europe and the Middle East. As part of our established team of expert engineers and technicians, and collaborating closely with colleagues of various disciplines, you will:Prepare detailed engineering calculations, assist with specifications, scheme designs and project reports.Work across a variety of sectors including infrastructure, master planning and data centres.Carry out drainage and highways design, including flood risk assessments, hydrological assessments, below‑ground drainage design, external services work design, road horizontal and vertical alignment and earthworks analysis.Define and translate clients’ needs into designs for buildings, infrastructure, facilities and services with sustainability at the forefront.Skills You'll BringEducated to degree level in Civil Engineering (Ingeniería Civil or Ingeniería de Caminos, Canales y Puertos). An understanding of civil design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Infodrainage, QGIS and HEC‑RAS is desirable.A passion for creative and intuitive engineering and a demonstrable experience of design engineering for the built environment, including below‑ground drainage design and external hard‑standing design.A desire for personal and professional development and a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.Job DescriptionYour career at CundallWe know that to be the best at what we do we need a diverse workforce underpinned by an inclusive culture.
