Position Overview

The Business Analytics Intern will be part of the Analytics team within Global License Compliance (GLC) Sales. The team is instrumental in supporting the global organization by detecting and addressing noncompliant usage of Autodesk’s software. The team is a strong partner for the data science team, data engineering team, and the customer facing GLC sales teams; we build the bridge between data and business. The team has a great deal of visibility, and the impact of their work is directly linked to the overall GLC business results. The team value the culture within their global team and at Autodesk in general, and they take pride in the diversity the team has and how they work and talk with one another.

In this role, you will be working on a project for the Business Analytics team that will support GLC to identify noncompliant behaviour of customers and/ or non-customers. Your primary focus will be to analyse datasets and deliver meaningful insights into customer behaviour. You will extract and transform the necessary information and prepare the findings in an impactful presentation. You will be partnering closely with other analysts, data engineers and sales managers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Explore, query, and transform large datasets of customer and transactional data
- Collect business requirements for your analytics project from a variety of internal stakeholders
- Summarize, visualize, and communicate your findings in clear and concise business language
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers and data product owners to discuss the approach and to gain understanding of the data

Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Masters in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics or similar
- Basic knowledge extracting data through SQL
- Proficiency using Excel to model and visualize data
- Strong communicator in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to express and present complex data issues in easy language
- Proficiency on MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge of developing dashboards in PowerBI

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data modelling through Python, Alteryx or similar
- Experience in BI tools such as QlikView or Tableau
- Knowledge of developing predictive models
