**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

British American Tobacco Spain is looking for a passionate, highly motivated Finance Intern with a positive and can-do attitude, to join our Finance department, based in Madrid, to support to the Corporate Finance team with growing responsibilities.

**Reports to**:Finance Executive

**Geographic Scope**:Iberia

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Support on Tax matters, in direct contact with the Tax advisors, Tax account reconciliation, liaising with the Local Authorities.
- Prepares the accruals or necessary provisions, follows them up during the month end closures.
- Point of contact between Account Payables, Banking Ops and stakeholders.
- Involvement in different Finance projects (leasing, Set up of new finance tools, R&D )
- Supports the yearly external audit, liaising with the auditors.
- Provides information for the Company Income Tax calculation and instalments.
- Submits the local annual financial statements and supports in preparing them.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- University Degree in Finance, Economics and Business (Master degree is an advantage).
- Fluent Spanish and English (written and spoken)
- Proficient in Excel and Power Point
- 1 or 2 years of experience maximum or student about to get graduated still attending a university degree or business school available to run full time working schedule
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to details.
- Oriented to work by objectives and achieve results.
- Strong leadership skills and people capabilities.
- Openness, flexibility and willingness to adapt to a changing environment, plus managing multiple tasks in parallel.
- Ability to manage time limits and deadlines.
