We are looking to recruit a Field Support Engineer/Desktop Support Administrator (M/F) based Madrid
Qualifications:
You have at least 3 years’ experience providing IT Infrastructure field support
You are skilled in desk side support and PC break/fix including basic administration of Windows O/S.
Experience with Anti-spyware and Anti-virus software.
Smart hand support for peripheral and networking hardware, including, but not limited to monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, fax machines, scanners, routers, wireless routers, switches, firewalls
Ability to troubleshoot issues with systems and networks using good deductive reasoning skills.
You are fluent in English and in Spanish
Roles & Responsibilities:
Your role will be to:
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system issues and problems and fix the issues without impacting / violating the hardware warranty or customer security compliance requirements.
- Handle senior executive/VIP/VVIP clients
- General support of Windows Desktop and Server systems as well as Linux in lab environments
- General security control compliance
- Application troubleshooting associated with OS configuration or patching
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Write training manuals.
- Train lab users.
- Maintain daily performance of lab computer systems.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Resolve basic technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN) and other systems.
