- The Barcelona Supercomputing Center - Centro Nacional de Supercomputación (BSC-CNS) is the leading supercomputing center in Spain. **Context And Mission**
- The Machine Learning for Biomedical Research Unit, led by Dr. Davide Cirillo, is looking for a student to work on generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) models applied in real life preclinical/clinical settings. The project involves exploration and analysis of complex biomedical data, data imputation and synthesis and covers innovative topics in life sciences.

**Key Duties**
- Complete a project using machine learning to address complex topics in computational biology. Participate in internal group meetings and other scientific discussions.**Requirements**:

- Education
- Master student in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology or any field related to AI and biomedicine
- Degree in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology or any field related to AI and biomedicine
- Or higher vocational education (FPII)
- Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
- Knowledge in Bioinformatics and computational biology
- Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Competences
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team

**Conditions**
- The position will be located at BSC within the Life Sciences Department
- We offer a part-time contract (17.21h/week), a good working environment, a highly stimulating environment with state-of-the-art infrastructure, flexible working hours, extensive training plan, restaurant tickets, private health insurance, support to the relocation procedures
- Duration: linked to the educational agreement
- Starting date: 01/02/2025
