**About the Role**

We are looking for a skilled and dynamic **QA/BA Specialist** to join our team remotely. In this dual-role position, you will spend approximately 20-30% of your time on QA tasks, ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. The remaining 70-80% of your responsibilities will focus on Business Analysis (BA) activities, gathering requirements, and acting as a bridge between stakeholders and the development team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in both Quality Assurance and Business Analysis who enjoys balancing these complementary functions.

**Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis (70-80%)**
- **Requirement Gathering & Analysis**: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements for projects.
- **Process Documentation**: Create detailed business process models, workflows, and use cases to guide the development team.
- **Stakeholder Communication**: Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- **Solution Design**: Participate in solution design discussions to ensure the requirements are feasible and align with business goals.
- **Data Analysis**: Interpret data from multiple sources to identify trends and insights for better decision-making.
- **User Story Creation**: Define and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog prioritization for agile development teams.
- **Project Support**: Provide ongoing project support, ensuring smooth implementation of system features and business processes.

**Quality Assurance (20-30%)**
- **Test Planning & Execution**: Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and scripts to validate software functionality.
- **Defect Management**: Identify, log, and track bugs or issues in the system and collaborate with developers for resolution.
- **Automation**: Where applicable, contribute to the automation of test scripts to enhance efficiency in QA processes.
- **Regression Testing**: Perform regular regression testing to ensure that updates or new features don’t negatively impact the existing functionality.
- **Quality Standards**: Ensure that all deliverables meet the company’s quality standards and compliance requirements.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- **Experience**:

- **Minimum 3 years** of combined experience in both Business Analysis and Quality Assurance roles.
- Proven experience working in agile or hybrid project management environments.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, or similar).
- Experience in writing clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Knowledge of test automation tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, etc.).
- **Soft Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between business and technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to manage time effectively while balancing multiple tasks.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Familiarity with both functional and non-functional testing.
- Experience in process improvement or reengineering.
- Hands-on experience with SQL for data validation and analysis.
